The Prime objective of the Mutual Benefit Association (MBA) is to promote thrift and credit activities among the poor women jointly together in the form of Self Help Groups (SHGs)/Joint Liability Group (JLGs) to help, impose the economic and social conditions, particularly of rural and urban poor women. The members of the trusts are recognized Joint Liability Groups of good standing at various development pockets of West Bengal. The Trusts operate exclusively for the benefit of the members of SHGs/JLGs only.
