Julekha Khatun was married. But she was left by her husband only after 2 years of her marriage due to incapability of giving dowry in the time of marriage and also as because she has given birth of a girl child in the meanwhile. Then she was compelled to come to her brother's house along with her little child .At that time she did not have any income. She took loan of Rs.3,000/- from VFSPL and bought a sewing machine to live their livelihood. At that time her earning was Rs. 1000/-. Now she is in 3rd cycle loan of Rs.10,000/-. She bought another 5 sewing machines including a specialized embroidery machine and appoint 20 women to work under her. Some of them are also engaged in button stitching. Now her monthly income is Rs.7000/- almost. Her child is now 8 years old and study in 4th standard in a nearby school. She is now staying in the same house where her brother is but she is living separately and independently. She has bought a T.V set, stereo and mobile for her personal use. She thanks VFSPL for extending the hand in the time of her crisis.
